I have recently installed Visual Studio 2008 at work. It runs more quickly and it also has some funky new features, particularly on the web side of things. There is now a JavaScript debugger and intellisense, nested masterpage and much better css support. You can also switch between design and code view instantly rather than having a huge timelapse, or view them both together in a split view mode.
